A Blog for Diana!

This may sound a little strange, but I've never been a big fan of TV reality shows, with the obvious exception of IDA. And that was entirely because of the presence of a certain contestant.

So last Saturday I was flicking through the channels when X-Factor came on and I thought I'd give it a go. All the usual sub-Karaoke performances were present and correct, but suddenly there was somebody different. A crazy-haired girl who reminded me a little of a young Kate Bush took the stage and tackled the U2 classic; 'With Or Without You.' And incredibly she succeeded! And even more incredibly the judges loved it!

Diana Vickers was correctly described by Louis Walsh as 'a breath of fresh air.'
She strolled through the public vote and next week she'll be performing a Michael Jackson song.

Always ready to encourage interesting and different new talent, we've set up a blog for Diana and wish her all the very best for Saturday.

Couldn't agree more - I saw her for the first time on Saturday's show and thought she was something else. I thought a little bit like a toned-down Cyndi Lauper?
