We've just heard that rehearsals with the new cast are due to commence on 18th August.

Does anybody know how long a run Rachel's going to do? I'd like to take my mum to see Rachel in action (she was as big a fan as myself)for her 50th birthday at the end of the year.
I dunno about West End, but general Broadway contracts are 3 month contracts with options to renew at the end of the 3 months for the first chunk of time. At least, that's what my friends are under and one is a leads.
hey i emailed andy yesterday asking the same question, and he said that he would be amazed if rachel was not performing in december, he said that he thinks she would of signed at least a 6 month contract, and more likely a 12 month contract.

I can assure you that Rachel's contract is almost definitely a 12 month one.
