Worth mentioning that Kerry Ellis, who played the original Meat character in 'We Will Rock You', singled Rachel out for particular praise during the 'Wicked' task in 'I'd Do Anything.'
She was asked; 'Did anyone stand out?'
'They all did really well, but I think that Rachel has a great face and really told the story of the song, and Jodie is really gutsy and strong.'
Kerry obviously knows how to spot a winner, as she picked the eventual Nancy and the subsequent inheritor of her own role. Nice one Kerry!
