Rachel On The Go

Rachel has now completed a hectic four days in Belfast, during which time she delighted fans, friends and family.

Kicking off with a personal appearance at the Madison Hotel on Friday night, Rachel followed this with a visit to Bangor's Flagship Centre on Saturday. There she was one of the judges for the 'Young Star Search' contest, before hosting a party at the House Bar on the Stranmillis Road. Guests included Hollyoaks star Gerard McCarthy, Blue Peter's Zoe Salmon, and staff from Belfast's Lyric Theatre.

Sunday saw Rachel at Botanic Gardens for the Munchkins party (see posts below for exclusive photos) followed by a family party that evening.

As if that wasn't enough, Rachel appeared on Monday to promote the charity Cancer Lifeline's 'Buy A Brick Campaign' in north Belfast.
You can see two interesting Rachel videos from the Belfast Telegraph in the post above.
The first is an interview at the event, the second is footage of Rachel with some of the kids, followed by information on the charity she is helping.

We can also reveal that Rachel will be taking part in Andrew Lloyd Webber's workshop for 'Phantom Of The Opera 2'. This will be a two week event and will have four attendees.

Perhaps less well known is that tonight Rachel is meeting Bill Kenwright, the director of 'Cabaret' in London with a possible view to playing her dream role of Sally Bowles in the production. Good luck Rachel!

And looking to the future, Rachel will be returning to Belfast next year for a very special reason -- her wedding day!
Rachel became engaged to theatre director Guy Retallack on Valentine's Day this year, and they plan to marry in 2009.

And in yet another exclusive, we at Rachel's top fan site can reveal that neither of us have yet received an invitation!
But give it time.......

On behalf of all Rachel's Belfast fans, grown-ups and kids alike, we'd like to say a big thank you for making this weekend so special.
Rachel has proved that not only does she have a big talent, she has a big heart as well.

Come back soon!
