Following Rachel's hectic Belfast weekend, I thought we'd turn the clock back a little to May. I've managed to unearth some footage from the 'Yellow Brick Road' event of May 22nd, when the Munchkins turned out in force to show their support for their 'Dorothy.'
The venue was Belfast's Lyric Theatre, where Rachel had starred as Dorothy in 'The Wizard Of Oz' several months before. The kids dressed up in yellow (Rachel's colour) and painted the yellow brick road on the wall of the theatre.
My wife caused some amusement by announcing; 'look Rachel's here.' Unfortunately this turned out to be a life-size cardboard cut-out.
All the kids posed for photos and a nice picture was featured in the local edition of the following day's Daily Mirror.
Sorry that the camera work isn't great in the videos -- at the time I hadn't even envisioned this site and hadn't intended the footage to be anything more than a family souvenir.
I'm sure Rachel herself hasn't seen this footage, so to Rachel and all our readers --enjoy!
